Chews for Good partner terms

1. Commission
BullyStick.com pays each partner 10% of a referred new customer's first BullyStick.com order, and 5% of later orders when a returning customer shops through the partner's page (and for 12 months on customers the partner brought in). Percentages are taken on merchandise after discounts, before tax and shipping. Gift cards and gift items bought for a partner earn no commission. Commissions on cancelled, refunded or returned orders are reversed. BullyStick.com pays earned commissions by PayPal or Venmo at least every 90 days. BullyStick.com may change these rates with 30 days' notice by email.

2. Program terms
DRAFT — review before launch. Have a professional review these terms before you accept applications, then edit them in Settings > Program & pages.

Eligibility. The program is open to US animal rescues and shelters that are 501(c)(3) public charities, government or municipal animal shelters, and other US nonprofit animal welfare organizations in good standing. One account per organization (EIN).

Verification. Before approval we check your EIN, your IRS determination letter (for 501(c)(3) organizations) and the contact details you give us. We may ask for more documents and may decline any application.

Payouts. Earned commissions are paid by PayPal or Venmo to the account you set in your partner dashboard, within the pay-by period stated in section 1, once your balance reaches the minimum payout. We may need a W-9 before paying. You are responsible for any taxes on what you receive.

Refunds and cancellations. When an order is cancelled, refunded or returned, the commission on it is reversed. A reversal can reduce a later payout.

No self-referral. Orders that your organization, its staff, officers or volunteers place for themselves through your own link earn no commission. Do not offer cash, rebates or other incentives in exchange for orders.

Brand and claims conduct. Describe the store and its products accurately and only with claims the store itself makes. Never make medical, disease or treatment claims about any product. Do not bid on the store's name or trademarks in paid search ads. Always tell supporters that your organization earns a commission when they shop through your link.

Termination. Either side can end the partnership with 30 days' notice by email. We may suspend an account at once for fraud or a breach of these terms. Commissions earned before the end date are paid on the normal schedule unless they come from fraud or a breach.

Changes. We may change these terms or the commission rates with 30 days' notice by email. Staying in the program after that date means you accept the change.
