I do not know what they do differently, but it's amazing how much different our dogs react when we give them theirs. I would be curious if they would develop one with a "mild" odor.

Our dogs are 15 and 16 years old. They both absolutely love these bully sticks. They have a slight smell in the bag but the dogs don’t smell after they are done chewing. Standard is also perfect hardness for these older dogs.
